What exactly is the SHPA?
The SHPA is a professional
networking organization that meets every other Wednesday
morning to discuss local consumer needs and current
business trends.
Unlike other networking
organizations, the SHPA is a not for profit group of
business owners and professionals from various
industries who are dedicated to offering the finest
services and products to the Somerset Hills community.
Also unique to the SHPA, our
professionals are not required to introduce fellow
members to potential clients and customers or exchange
“qualified referrals.” However, each member who
demonstrates the SHPA mission statement will inevitably
generate business through the group. The difference:
it’s in the consumer’s best interest – not the
professional’s – to do business together.
Each member of the SHPA must
adhere to the highest standards and ethics of their
respective professions, as well as the mission of the
SHPA. New members have been interviewed, provided
references and been voted on by current SHPA members
prior to acceptance in the group.
